Golfe-Juan and Vallauris, the harbour and the potters
Between Juan-les-Pins and Cannes, Golfe-Juan is a small fishing and yachting harbour at the end of a sheltered gulf, with sandy beaches and a view of the Lérins islands: this is where Napoleon landed in 1815. On the hill, Vallauris, the village where Picasso discovered ceramics, with its painted chapel, its museums and its dozens of potters' workshops. One municipality, two atmospheres, twenty-five minutes from the airport.
