Roquebrune-Cap-Martin, the village and the Cap
Roquebrune is a medieval village under the oldest castle in France, perched between Monaco and Menton, and, at its feet, a peninsula of pines and grand villas, Cap-Martin, where Le Corbusier had his cabin and where the coastal path goes round the rocks. Less known than its two neighbours, it is the place to sleep in peace five minutes from Monte-Carlo, and one of the finest walks on the coast.
