Saint-Jeannet, the village at the foot of the baou
Above the Var plain, under a 400-metre cliff visible from the whole coast, Saint-Jeannet is a Provençal village of winegrowers and artists: vaulted lanes, fountains, a church with a square bell tower, one of the last vineyards of the Nice country, and the baou, the table mountain that Poussin painted and that walkers and climbers scale all year round. Twenty-five minutes from the airport, the hinterland is within reach.
